Every Will Nye DJ undergoes a comprehensive training program led by our head trainers or by Will Nye himself. Whether they’re seasoned pros or new to the team, each DJ is trained to uphold the core values and high standards that define the Will Nye brand.
Before performing at any event solo, our DJs shadow experienced team members and complete full weddings under supervision. This ensures they’re fully prepared to deliver an exceptional, personalized experience that aligns with your vision and with our reputation for professionalism, adaptability, and excellence.
Congrats! You booked a great DJ for your event. Here’s the timeline:
- Complete contract, terms of agreement, and payment selection within 14 days of us securing your date.
- Start making notes of songs you like, wedding games you see, and things you want to see for your big day.
- Fill out our questionnaire forms. These will be sent to you 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding date via your online client portal.
- Meet with your DJ. Your DJ will contact you 4-6 week prior to your wedding to set up a consultation.
- The big day is finally here. We arrive, we celebrate with you, we dance (probably poorly behind the booth), we laugh with you and your guests, and you go home hitched!
Our DJ services always use high output components and professional grade QSC similar to that of concert venues. We pride ourselves on using the most advanced and capable wireless up-lighting available, as well as new-age digital monograms. We offer a beautiful modern photo booth design, with a touchscreen and wireless capability.
Don’t worry! We always have an assigned backup DJ with a spare system on call in the event there’s an unforeseen emergency on your big day. You can rest assured knowing that there will be a wedding DJ available for your big day no matter what!
Yes, we do take requests! Our wedding DJs carefully filter the requests from guests throughout the night. If the bride or groom has any requests, we’re always sure to play those ASAP!
Tipping is not included in the cost of our DJ services. While it’s not required to tip, if you think your DJ did a great job, it’s very appreciated!
